These Terms explain the rules for using https://buythissquare.com and purchasing space on the Buy This Square grid. By visiting the Website, providing checkout information, creating an optional account, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you act for a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
2. Definitions
- “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means Buy This Square.
- “Website” means https://buythissquare.com.
- “Placement” means the grid space, image, name, alternative text, and destination link submitted for display.
- “You” means the person or organization accessing or purchasing from the Website.
3. Our service
Buy This Square is a public digital canvas. A customer selects any contiguous square or rectangular area that fits in the grid without overlapping a claimed cell, uploads one matching image, provides a name, destination link and contact email, and completes payment before publication.
Placements are intended to remain visible for the operational life of the grid. The word “permanent” describes that intention; it does not transfer ownership in Buy This Square or guarantee that the Website will exist forever. We also do not promise any specific number of views, clicks, leads, rankings, or sales.
4. Accounts and lawful use
You agree to provide accurate information, protect your password, and use the Website only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for activity through your account. We may suspend an account used for fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or any violation of these Terms.
5. Purchases and payments
Prices and the complete charge are displayed before checkout. Submitting placement details creates a temporary reservation for the exact clear area selected by the customer. The price equals the number of selected cells multiplied by the displayed per-cell price. A placement becomes active only after verified payment confirmation.
Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem may handle applicable taxes, fraud checks, receipts, and refunds under its own checkout terms. By completing checkout, you authorize the amount shown.
6. Your placement
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give us permission to host, resize, display, link, archive, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate the grid.
You confirm that your placement:
- Is owned by you or used with all necessary permissions.
- Is accurate and does not impersonate, defraud, or mislead visitors.
- Does not violate privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Does not contain or promote malware, phishing, hate, harassment, exploitative content, illegal goods or services, or other harmful material.
- Does not contain, promote, advertise, or link to pornography, adult entertainment, NSFW, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content or services.
- Does not contain, promote, advertise, or link to illegal or recreational drugs, controlled substances, cannabis or CBD, drug paraphernalia, pharmacies, pharmaceuticals, prescription or non-prescription medicines, medical drugs, nutraceuticals, or related offers.
These categories are prohibited even when the product, service, or content is lawful in your location. We may reject or remove content that breaks these rules or creates legal, payment-processing, security, or reputational risk. This does not limit the seven-day refund promise below. Changes requested after publication are considered individually and are not guaranteed. See our Advertising Content Policy for the complete standards.
7. Our seven-day refund promise
We want every purchase to feel straightforward and confident. If you change your mind for any reason, you may request a full refund during the first seven (7) calendar days after payment. You do not need to justify your decision, and the guarantee applies even if the placement has already been published.
To request it, email support@buythissquare.com from the email used at checkout and include the order reference. The request must reach us within that seven-day period. We aim to respond within three business days.
A refunded placement will be removed and its grid space may become available again. Creem will return the funds to the original payment method; the time required for the credit to appear depends on the payment provider and financial institution. After the seven-day period, purchases are final except where a refund is required by applicable law.
8. Affiliate program
Affiliate commissions apply only to eligible completed purchases. Refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or self-referred purchases are not eligible, and related commissions may be reversed. We may update or discontinue the program with reasonable notice.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the Website reliable, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or the availability of third-party services and destination websites.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buy This Square is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, traffic, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the placement giving rise to the claim. Legal rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
