1. Purpose
Buy This Square is a paid advertising canvas for legitimate websites, software, digital products, creators, and projects. This Policy explains what may appear on the grid and forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Buyer responsibilities
By submitting a placement, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to advertise and publish it.
- Your project name, image, description, and destination are accurate.
- The destination is a working HTTPS website controlled or authorized by you.
- The placement and destination comply with applicable law and these standards.
3. Prohibited content
Placements and their destination websites must not contain or promote:
- Illegal products, services, activity, or instructions.
- Pornography, adult entertainment, NSFW material, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, sexual services, or content that sexually exploits any person.
- Illegal or recreational drugs, controlled substances, cannabis or CBD, drug paraphernalia, or content that promotes or facilitates their purchase, sale, distribution, or use.
- Pharmacies, pharmaceuticals, prescription or non-prescription medicines, medical drugs, nutraceuticals, or supplements marketed with claims to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure a condition.
- Tobacco, nicotine, vaping, alcohol, weapons, gambling, sweepstakes, or similar regulated or age-restricted offers.
- Fraud, phishing, malware, spyware, deceptive downloads, impersonation, or misleading claims.
- Counterfeit goods, copyright or trademark infringement, unauthorized reselling, or content that violates privacy or publicity rights.
- Hate, harassment, threats, graphic violence, discrimination, or content that exploits or endangers people.
- Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid or multi-level marketing programs, unlicensed financial offers, or deceptive business opportunities.
4. Destination standards
The destination must match the advertised project, load without malicious behavior, and remain reasonably accessible. Cloaking, forced downloads, unexpected redirects, credential theft, and attempts to bypass this Policy are prohibited.
5. Enforcement
We may review a placement before or after publication and may reject, disable, or remove content that violates this Policy or creates legal, payment-processing, security, or reputational risk. Prohibited categories are not accepted even when lawful in the buyer's location. We may request evidence of ownership, authorization, licensing, or eligibility.
Our seven-day full refund promise remains available for requests received within the first seven calendar days after payment. After that period, removal for a Policy violation does not create a right to a refund unless required by law.
6. Report a concern
To report a placement or ask whether content is eligible, email support@buythissquare.com and include the placement name, destination URL, and reason for the report. We aim to respond within three business days.
